A drama workshop for 6 – 10 year olds
We are delighted to announce that Dave Rudden will be holding two workshops at The Hugh Lane as part of the Dublin UNESCO City of Literature’s Citywide Reading Campaign, for which his new book, Knights of the Borrowed Dark, has been selected for 2017. Join author Dave Rudden to explore different dramatic and delivery techniques, and work together to re-enact scenes from his book Knights of the Borrowed Dark. No experience necessary.
This workshop is for 6 – 10 year olds and will take place in the gallery’s education room. Fee €10. Places are limited, to book a place please contact the gallery reception on 012225564.

About the Citywide Reading Campaign
Knights of the Borrowed Dark by Dave Rudden, published by Puffin Books, is the chosen book for the 2017 Citywide Reading Campaign for Children. This reading initiative is organised by Dublin City Council’s Public Library Service as part of its UNESCO City of Literature programme with the aim of encouraging children to read for pleasure. There will be author visits to Dublin City public libraries as well as city-centre based events to promote the campaign from January to March 2017. Copies of the book will be available to borrow in all Dublin City Library branches.
