We are delighted to welcome you to our exciting 'Art and the Outdoors' two day family art event on Saturday 31 July and Sunday 1 August 2021, taking place with a special street closure in front of the Hugh Lane Gallery on Parnell Square North.  ‘Art and the Outdoors’ is inspired by artists who moved out of their studio to paint en plein air or out of doors. This free family-friendly programme includes artist-led outdoor drawing, street performance by the Dublin Circus Project, live music performances from Jazz to string quartet and traditional music and on Sunday we also have Outspoken with Spoken Word artists Hazel Hogan, Emmet O'Brien and The Poet Geoff programmed in conjunction with Poetry Ireland.

There will also be selected street food stalls and an hourly draw which can be entered at the event for a €25 voucher for the Hugh Lane's wonderful bookshop.
