The Red Violin

Ms. Pitcairn plays on the legendary "Red Mendelssohn" Stradivarius from 1720.
The program will include Saint-Saens Sonata and Kreisler virtuoso pieces. An opportunity to hear the story of the Red Violin, featured in the 1999 movie of the same name and which won the Oscar for Best Original Score.
