Celebrity Artist cellist Jan Vogler, will perform with Irish pianist Cathal Breslin, as part of a 3 concert national tour to launch the Walled City Music Festival which brings world-renowned musicians to Derry each summer.

They will perform the Debussy Sonata, Bach Suite No.1 and the Shostakovich Sonata.

Jan Vogler, an IMG Artist and Sony Classical recording artist, has performed as soloist with the New York Philharmonic, the Chicago, Boston, Pittsburgh, Montreal and Cincinnati Symphony Orchestras, Vienna Symphony and many more. As a chamber musician, he performs regularly with pianists Hélène Grimaud, Bruno Canino, Louis Lortie, and violinist Mira Wang. Recent concerts have included concertos with the Mariinsky Orchestra and Valery Gergiev, Berlin Philharmonic, Munich Philharmonic and Lorin Maazel, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, amongst others.
